BElGIUM CHATEAU

I had the fortune to work at a bocolic 16 acre estate in the old mill town of Carversville Pa. When I started it was just a bunch of empty beds with a stunning home and after 20 years we created a labyrinth of gardens connected by narrow passageways. The concept was to create something you could walk and reflect inwardly, like a green monestary complete with an 8 acre meadow, pond, orchard, vegetable garden and many hidden spots for contemplation. It was unique because you never knew what was behind the corner. My plant pallet was mostly native with an emphasis on plants with seeds and berries to feed the birds. The essense of mystery and the feeling of peace we overwhelming.
